Q & A - About Gymnastics and U-M

Why do you like doing gymnastics?		Every time you hit a trick, it's just the best feeling. It also gives us all challenges and there's always room to do better.
What is your favorite event or routine? Why?		Bars, because I love to swing. It's just fun and there's so much to do that you can never get bored.

What attracted you to the University of Michigan?		EVERYTHING! The academics, gymnastics team, and campus are all amazing.
What has been your most memorable gymnastics moment at Michigan?		Getting all of our Michigan apparel. That was so awesome!

What has been your most embarrassing moment in the gym (ever)?		Hmmm...running down the runway at full speed, tripping in the middle, and just falling completely on my face haha.
What goes through your head immediately before a routine?		I think of all the times I've done the routine perfectly and then think about all of my corrections that I've been told. I just tell myself, "I've done this a million times."

What advice would you share with up-and-coming Michigan gymnasts?		Never leave anything to the last minute, manage your time really well, and always feel special when you walk into the gym. Oh yea, don't forget to have alot of fun!!
What is your favorite part of the gym meets?		I don't know yet, but probably seeing all the people that come to watch and cheer us on.
What has been your biggest challenge/obstacle in gym or college (or both)? How did you overcome this challenge?		The biggest obstacle has been time. There's so much to do between gym and school, but I learned that time management is the key.

Who is the most interesting person that you've met at UM and why?		Lisa Hass, because she's just a cool person who you can talk to about anything.

That I absolutely love junk food!!

My dad, because he's smart, caring, loving, understanding, has a great personality, and I want to be just like him.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I am not sure yet, but maybe a lawyer.

Besides gymnastics, what is one thing that you do well?
Talk.

If you were given $431,718 how would you spend it?
I would give some to my parents and travel the world.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Fly.

Wear all of your Michigan stuff and go all out!
