Q & A - About Gymnastics and U-M

Why do you like doing gymnastics?   I like doing gymnastics because it is challenging and fun.
What is your favorite event or routine? Why?   Floor, because I have always enjoyed tumbling.

What attracted you to the University of Michigan?   Michigan's reputation in academics as well as athletics. I also loved how the campus is mixed in with the city.
What has been your most memorable gymnastics moment at Michigan?   I would have to say getting all of the amazing Nike apparel.

What has been your most embarrassing moment in the gym (ever)?   Trying to jump from one beam to another, missed my foot and totally wiped out.
What goes through your head immediately before a routine?   I tell myself to relax and say a little prayer.

What advice would you share with up-and-coming Michigan gymnasts?   Stay on top of your school work, because if you fall behind, then it is very tough getting caught back up. College is a lot of fun too though, so take advantage of it while it lasts.
What is your favorite part of the gym meets?   The introductions with all of the lights.
